Terms & Conditions.
As of January 1st 2024:
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Once we confirm your reservation, much of the cost in organzing the trip is spent long before you arrive. If you need to cancel your reservation, please give as much notice as possible. Please note the following rescheduling fees will be applied:
For All Activities:
Cancellations made more than 30 days before the date of your trip will receive a full refund, minus a 10% administrative fee.
Cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to your trip date (but less than 30 days), will be issued store credit good for one year from the trip date.
No shows on the day of the trip and cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to your scheduled trip will not be considered for store credit or a refund.
These firm policies are in place to ensure all guests are treated equally and fairly.
POLICY CONDITIONS:
Just a note: all activities go rain or shine.
Weather and Water Conditions:
All trips go rain or shine.
However, if water levels dictate, we reserve the right to change any trip to another section, river, or watercraft. On rare occasions, water levels may also demand we change the number of participants on the trip and/or the length of the trip.
Since weather conditions and water levels are Acts of God, we do not issue store credit or refunds, unless all events of the day are cancelled.
Physical Requirements and Medical Conditions:
All guests must sign a Waiver or Acknowledgment of Risk prior to their trip. Minors must have a parent or guardian sign for them. Email us and request a copy prior if the minor’s parent or guardian will not be present.
By purchasing an activity with Palmetto Outdoor, you are acknowledging you are aware and meet minimum activity age, weight, and physical requirements. Requirements vary depending on location, trip, and activity. Please consult individual booking pages for requirements.
Palmetto Outdoor activities take place in remote locations and we ask that you inform the trip leader of any pre-existing medical conditions such as severe allergic reactions, heart conditions, or physical injuries you may have.
If you have a medical condition that requires medication (such as an allergic reaction to food/bees/asthma/diabetes/heart condition), you are strongly advised to consult with your physician regarding your participation in these activites. Similarly, women who are pregnant are also strongly advised to consult your physician regarding participation in these activies.
Additionally, please inform your trip leader of the medication you intend to carry and whether a family member or friend who is familiar with administering your medication will be participating in the activity. On guided activities, your trip leader will be able to keep the medication safe and dry for you.
