Three Rivers run directly through downtown Columbia- the Saluda, the Broad, and the Congaree. Each river has its unique ecosystem and unique offerings. The cold, clean water of the Saluda River is home to trout. The silty, warm water is the perfect habitat for the protected Rocky Shoals Spider Lily. The mighty Congaree snakes its way down towards the Lowcountry, with large sandbars for camping along the way.
